Last night flying I think 334th Dedicated, I was flying a late Spit rigged up with 2X250 lb and 1X500 lb bombs. Saw a B-25 trying to take off http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Skip bombed the 250's right into his wings and rear fuselage, dunno how lol but made a big mess, then exploded and probably set off his ordnance too http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Also tonight, just then flying on SaraZOOM, I was flying a Cr 42 (yes, that one http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif ) and got into a dogfight with a Bf-109K-4. In the end, got me a flamer. Needless to say, the pilot ~NX~Lennox wasn't too happy bout it http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
Those 12.7's made short work of his engine

Weak armament my eye!

Badsight.

You meen to tell me that there is a offline version of IL2 FB AEP PF. WOW the things you learn on the internet.

I cant remember the last time I flew offline, I just cant find the fun in it. It's the flying with squadmates and flying against people, not AI, that makes this game great.

That Italian bi-plane is uber http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif.

A while back when I first started venturing online I managed to down a pair of Yaks in it. It was some any-plane-goes free-for-all dogfight server and these two guys had been flying together.

Anyway, caught them just after take-off low and slow, and instead of just running away they tried to fight it out right there. Both ended up stalling into the forest; I even got credit for one because I'd managed to get a couple of hits with the machine guns...

Yeah, yeah, I know, they were noobs who flew wrong, but still, as the world's worst online fighter pilot, I felt pretty chuffed... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I discovered online that on the USN carriers
there is a gap between the smoke funnel and the superst, ructure, so sure enough i jump in my wildcat takeoff and come in at the carrier at its port side. I flip over with the wings vertical and line up with the gap. When i was just about through it i see some wires stretched across the gap.

You can imagine what happened next.

No doubt woulda taken an excess of skill http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif
Serioulsy though, that birds a beaut to fly, that engine has got about the same HP as a Hurri, so I'm able to keep up with them in the Med. Downed two of them, and 3 Glads in one sortie yesterday http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

There should be more biplane/cr@pplane servers!

He he, lol, happened to me once. I was trying and trying to fight two La7s and one Yak3 just by myself in a Fw190A6 at low alt with no alt advantage. We must have been flying for some 2 hours, and they constantly served my @ss to me on a silver plate, I didn't score a single kill. Anyway, I knew they were kinda noobs, all that they were doing was turning and turning... but I persisted just to learn.

And then I picked J8A! LOL, got all 3 of them in a single sortie, ha ha. They still tried to outturn me http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif.

You should see the chat bar then http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/53.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/mockface.gif

Man, what a feeling.

Just played on UK-Dedicated. Flew 3 sorties, was tk-ed 2 times, while in pursuit of a bandit, while some nice air-quakers fired through me to get the kill.
Best thing: Shot an A9 aflame. It tumbled down, no hope for recover. 3 of my ... 'team'mates dived after it, trying to hit the tumbling fireball to get the kill and almost crashed into each other and into the ground, doing so.
Third sortie: 2 incoming bandits - a 109 high, a 111 low with 4 reds on him. I flew in a bunch of 5 fighters. Sure, we were in the inferior position, but hey, 5 vs 1 109 - so I engaged. I noticed too late that the 4 people flying around me dropped to engage the 111 instead of going after the 109. Sure, it's better to engage a single bandit with 8 fighters, who's allready leakin' fuel and has one engine burning, than engaging the escort.... Great flying, gents. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif

LOL! Yeah, that jump started my memory!

Couple days ago, just took off in a Spit and got to 1000 metres. I saw a friendly Spit and an 190 I think fighting. Well in the end my teamate got some hits, but I got a direct hit in the wing with all guns, which didn't blow it off but took a big chuck out of it, and he stalled and crashed. Obviously my teamate thought I was kill stealing, because he got behind me and shot up my engine to black smoke. As I lost speed, he flew right past me......and into my gunsight http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Ill leave the rest to you http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

My favourite moment was attacking an airfield with an IL2.

Rocketed a Bf110 at one end of the runway, then another at the opposite end.

They both belched black smoke and trundled down the runway until they met in the middle, BOOM! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/784.gif

2 instant kills. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Just came off a really good session in 334th dedicated.

Best kills of the night was getting jumped by a pair of Spitfires (both clipped wing jobs so im guessing MKIXe L.F.) on take-off while in a MkIXe H.F. and managing to turn the tables on them and getting each of them dead on with a neat burst after about 4 or 5 minutes sustained turn fighting. I felt ****ed proud of myself for turning the tables, even if I did almost rip my joystick out of it pots.
