If you were wondering what you could do with CFS 3, this looks like it. Not Maddox-quality but the FM seems right (for example, torque is a major pain with these babies), and I found shooting accurately very hard---don't even think of firing beyond point-blank. I loved it when I was slow flying below tree top level and I heard a church bell!

I d/l'd a while back. Still haven't reinstalled CFS3 to see what it's like. Soon, though....

I've been messing with OFF from time to time since it was released. It's definitely not FB/PF, but it's a nice diversion. Well worth the time to download, especially since the "Supa-patch".

Had it about a week. Took about 40 hours on dialup over 3 weeks with download manager. 43 joins and no corrupt files - is this a record? Lots of fun and very immersive. The team did a great job with the terrain. You can clearly see great plumes of dirt from the shelling. Very easy to get killed which brings your campaign to a close unless you turn the option off. Very impressive.

I got a big kick out of the zeppelin. Awaiting the Bristol Fighter. It really swings with TrackIR. Quite another kind of fighting from the WWII-era---feel like you are in a powered kite, especially in the RE8. I've taken to balloon busting. Here is another WWI flight sim due out this fall:

I found the terrain to be better then fb/aep/pf.The plane detail not so much.It is very immersive.Flying low over the front lines you can see the battle raging below with artillery, troops moving, truck convoys moving, and the trenches.

It has campaigns and a multiplay section.A good review in this months Computer Pilot magazine.

I'm glad they break that home page down into easy to navigate sections.
