Is there anyway I can revive my popped harddrive (static popped) so I can get my data off of it? I popped it in the summer and it has alot of flashpoint stuff that I really need on it.

There are companies that specialize in data recovery, but you'll pay an arm and a leg for their services. If the platters aren't damaged the data can probably be recovered.

If you have a second PC, you could set the jumper on your "popped" drive to slave and stick that drive into your good PC as a second drive. If there is anything recognizable on it, you could save that to the primary drive of your good PC.

If the circuitry on the hard drive itself is bad, do you have another identical drive you could make one good item out of two bad items? Meaning, take off the PCB from the good drive and install it on the bad drive.

Just random thoughts.
