View Full Version : Seeking New Moderator: Apply inside

Some of you may be aware of the recent tragedy surrounding the disappearance of our beloved moderator Targ. Understand we must leave elegiac remarks for another time and get down to the business of selecting a new moderator. Qualified applicants will be judged on their time in the forums, frequency of posting, and the ability to be fair and judicious. Post the reasons why we should consider you below.

Obviously anyone w/ any information about Targ should contact the appropriate authority's. All we know so far is that his radical abuse of his moderation power led to accusations of falsifying stickeys and lascivious acts with a joystick. After a failed attempt to cover-up his wrongdoing, Targ disappeared. His current residence, described as: "a van down by the river", has yet to be located.

In English, when a word ends with the letter "y" the plural ends in "ies"

Therefore: Too many stickies.

Insert flame here, if you wish - it's much easier than learning something.

Sir, this is America. We threw off the yolk of 'English' oppression in the revolution. So you loyalists can have your so called 'rules of proper grammar' and elitist F7 keys. When I need to check a word, I don't use the liberal dictionary; I spell with my heart.

That's "yoke" not "yolk" - and I'm not English, by ancestory or nationality. I just use the language.

Please un-sticky this sticky. A thread requesting the reduction in stickies makes for a sticky situation when stickied.

I think the best way to address the issue, i.e. 'Too many Stickies?' would be to start a Poll-
That way people can voice thier opinion on the matter and perhaps reach a consensus....

"Using research funded by UBIsoft and their subsidiary Boonty,French Scientists have conclusively proved that the man we know as Shakespeare in-fact grew up near the Rhone.

Apparently, claims chef French scientist Mon'LeTarg, "Jacques JhookSpr'e" was fond of crossing the "French" Channel to feed his addiction to English food and *****s. "Unfortunately, this brings into question his sanity" added LeTarg.

The scene in downtown Paris is one of elation and festival. The day has been declared a holiday, and the euphoric mood is evident in all segments of the population. As of this report, only 10 thousand cars are burning, and most of those are being used for barbecue.

In England the mood is more sober and depressed. In London the streets are creepily quite and nobody smiles. Surveys of local residents conclude that most people never really thought he was that good anyway."What did he ever do, really?" asked a street vendor outside Parliament. "Make fun of Richard III?, Bah!, that's like shooting fish in a barrel, wasn't it? might as well written plays about Bush!"

When reached for comment, PM Blair refused comment other than to remind France that the Nuclear option was still on the table.

Let's say that a Mod stickys one of your posts, not because it's a worthy post, but just to be a smartass.

Some ppl, having realized that they have edit control over the top sticky, might be tempted to make announcements.
