does any 1 know how ezio and leonardo da vinci meet each other or is he an old friend of his father, and why would leonardo give all his secrets to an assassin, as he clearly states in most of his notebooks that he hates wars, and he delibritly changes the desighns of most of his sinister inventions so that evil men do not use them for evil purposes?? And how does ezio learn to fight, because it says about his uncle teaching him to fight, but i doubt his uncle would be able to teach everything that you see in the trailers, like the dual-drop-down assassination there must be someone else involved with his training, and how did he learn to free run, any ideas would be welcomehttp://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/assassinscreed/images/thumb/7/7c/Mario.jpg/200px-Mario.jpg

im guessing there must be other assassins in the game at the beginning to teach him more of the assassiny type things as Ezio is more of an assassin that Altair was in the first game, im guessing 1 of the 1st tasks will be to learn free running and the other types of assassinations from a teacher ie another assassin

Yes Leonardo hated wars, but the assassins were there to prevent wars (most of the time) and Leonardo helps him because he is doing it for a noble cause, hes saving his family, and getting revenge on those who killed his father, evil men, so Leonardo probably thinks this is a worthy cause to help him.

It's impossible that Leonardo was an old friend of Ezio's father, as leonardo was born in 1452, so he would be 26 at the beginning of the game (1478), which is probably pretty close to Ezio's age as well.

And are you kidding? Leonardo was COMMISSIONED by leaders to build war machines. But the point is, Leonardo and Ezio become friends, but they must also share a common goal, eliminating the Templars (although they don't know it yet)

Da Vinci made weapons and warmachines. So why would he not make weapons for Ezio?

And Ezio isn't an evil man?? Da Vinci changed his designs so that only he could build the machines and no one else. Otherwise someone might have just stolen them.

Ezio has been taught to fight since he was a kid, as he's a noble and they were taught swordplay for example. Some/most of it is also self learned/natural, probably.

How did he learn free running? Err.. just do it? It's not a "secret art", it's just moving from A to B.

Oh, yes, that's why everyone is so impressed by it. Because it comes naturally to everyone. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif
So I hope you're implying he took time to train himself, and not that he was just magically a parkour expert when he started having thoughts of revenge.
Fighting isn't a secret art either, but just like parkour, it takes a long time to develop a dependable technique on your own. I would assume there was some instruction with both of these skills, since he's kind of in a hurry.

I'm sure the codex had a lot to say about the Creed, how to be subtle, how to assassinate, and maybe some instructions on wrist-mounted blades, but I highly doubt it contained any extended instructionals on parkour, swordfighting, and especially (since it was written by altair lol) fistfighting.

I cant remember where but i remember seeing it somewhere. Altair supposedly wrote a Codex for the future assassins (because he killed the assassins leader in the end of AC1)

What? I didn't know that. Please, elaborate! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/typing.gif

Didn't Patrice explain that Ezio learned parkour by running from the fathers of pretty girls?

MartaVasques

At least Kaxen explained that part pretty good! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
But yes, Patrice did mention something like that.

Did I say it becomes naturally to everyone? No. It depends on the person. Perhaps Ezio already has excellent balance and he's very acrobatic in which case he would need no "training" for it.

I'm sticking to that theory. Even if it's only because there's a few jokes about your sister somewhere in it.

Why is it that the only person who seems to understand that (me) is the only guy who can't take advantage of it? lol
Danvish used to crack wise about hitting on Charlie's sister, and he's saying since Danvish is gone, that role is up for grabs.

What happened? He was re-assigned in the military. He sent a private thread went around with the announcement but I'm not sure how to forward it to you. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif

Oh, God… I didn’t know that. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif

I hope he still finds the time to visit us every once in a while. But above all I hope he’s safe.

Edit: I just found the PM. I haven’t noticed it all day! *face palm*
I hope I was not too late to wish him all the best…

As far as I know, Danvish is just training troops. He's not in harms way, to the best of my knowledge, but it's too time-consuming for him to hang out on the forums.

@assassinman2009: Leonardo does hate wars but Ezio is not starting a war or anything. First, Ezio wants revenge then justice. So even if you want to call it a war, it was for the good of mankind.
How Ezio learned to fight? I dunno but maybe his Uncle was an Assassin? His Uncle did disappear for many years apparently. Also, Ezio is naturally talented as an Assassin so he might've just needed to find out he had those abilities.
Who knows... :P
