I would like to make a game based on a novel, if only Ubisoft produce a game like RPG Maker & let players create their own Assassin's Creed game, maybe I can do it myself & create a storyline based on that novel without copyrights problem. ^_^

What do you think about it?

Not a fan of the idea. I don't see the point really. Why don't you use the existing tools available (i.e. RPG Maker, whatever that is)

Ubisoft are currently developing UBI|art| (http://ubi-art.uk.ubi.com/) but I don't know if that has anything to do with what you're talking about lol

Different engine which doesn't allow for AC type gameplay probably. Personally I don't understand why most devs don't release SDKs (software development kits) with their games. It increases a game's lifetime way beyond its standard range. Just look at NWN (neverwinter nights) or what CS (counter strike) did for HL (half life).

Acronyms fail when you don't know what the hell they stand for lol

They probably are but I've not been gaming long enough to pick most of them up. I'll remember for future reference http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
