I checked the box to select "dive to periscope depth" from the "Aircraft Sighted" interface screen.

However now it so long to get the boat down and my flack gunners nerver fire a shot. Before they would fire a clip or two while I was getting the boat to periscope depth on my own.

My question is: Is thier any way to change this order now that I in place. I checked the box 3 patrols ago and now I appears to be locked in for ever.

When a plane is sighted for example.

The game stops and you get this "Enemy plane spotted" box that asks you what to do.

Ok, hit the engage enemy aircraft tab, then hit the CE's head (bottom left) then when his interface comes up hit the periscope.
Your flak gunner may score before you get under if he's lucky (he may even hit a plane http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif)

Mark4x5, you can reset the default action that occurs when an enemy unit is spotted as follows. While in a mission, hit the 'Esc' key to bring up the game menu. Select 'Options'. Select 'Reset default action'. This should do it.
