OK..I just want to see who is from my neck of the woods here...any of you guys from the Northern Va area like say within 40 miles of the beltway in either direction? Even further south in Va or a little further north in MD is good to know... I know Johann, Sky Chimp & Preddy are from around here but who else... The reason is I want to see who will be able to go the the Smithsonian at Dulles when it finally opens in the Spring of 04........and I am just being curious too.../i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Bearcat, I went to high school in Winchester, VA and to Virginia Tech. My older brother still lives in Winchester, and even if he moves it will only be closer to DC. So, I will be going back there to visit, possibly next summer. If you'd like to get together in the Smithsonian sometime lemme know. /i/smilies/16x16_robot-happy.gif

Annapolis Md.

By the way, I work about a half mile away from the Garber Restoration facility (go here for 24/7 web cam to see them in action http://www.nasm.edu/nasm/garber/cam/home.htm) in Suitland MD. A huge percentage of the stuff they work on here will be displayed in Dulles at the new facility but there's also a treasure chest of stuff that will never make it to display. I was fortunate enough to tour the facility a year ago (they've long since stopped public tours because the facility is being shut down and moved to Dulles). The group I toured with comprised of about 10 people. Four of us from my work (pencil necked geeks were are) and the rest were 8th Air Force vetrans! Very cool and humbling experience. These guys were both crewmen on B-17s (circa '44-'45) and support. Some of the cool displays we saw at Garber was a internals for a fully functioning ball-turret. Really neat seeing how small the thing was and how it worked on the gryo. It had massive medal ammo feeders. I digress. I and many more co-workers and friends will make the trip to the opening. We also plan on going to the WWII memorial opening on the mall once that's completed as well. stubby

Hi Bearcathttp://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gifF8F fan, I get it)
Im from NYC. However, I posted because of your X45/FFII profile. I got some interesting views on profiling. I read your post a week or so back and it inspired me to intall a MFFII next to my X45. The results are unbeleivable. I would like to send you a profile I created on Excell. Think I got it down pat. Email me at maico_249th@hotmail.com. I also have some questions regarding progaming. I have had my X45 for two years. I got two now and an FFII. Loving life!
Also would like to know when you are on HL. Lets do some flying sir.

Have an Air Assault Day
