plz somebody help me to figure this out:

in the trailer you can see that umma thurman writes "capullo" in the guys forehead with her laser eyes

how comes that in an american movie it reads capullo instead of d*ckhead?

is capullo also an english insult like in spanish?

He's talking about that movie My Super Ex Girlfriend. I'm assuming in a particular scene she uses her 'layer' eyes to right capullo on the guys head.

Because they made it that way...because its more viable to say it in another language that not many Americans would understand, because the movie has a low rating and that would wreck it/ make it fun for the kiddies to watch.

That or raaaid's been on ice again http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif...

This is an old Movie trick, Raaaid.

English and american Audiences can be a little prudish about certain words, wheras some other countries aren`t. Now if a certain word in English can`t be used because it`s too rude and goes over the rating then it`s an easy trick just to have the word imprinted in a foreign language. The English viewers and kids laugh, but don`t really know what they`re laughing to and the film keeps a certain `maturity` to it.

Surely, you can figure this out.

Actually, capullo=cocoon
d.i.c.k.head would roughly translate to "pendejo"

BTW, I´m a native spanish speaker.

Its nothing new. The show, 'Firefly', had the characters muttering naughty curse words in Mandarin and they get past the censors.

Count the letters in each word. The guy's forehead wasn't big enough for an 8 letter word. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif
