View Full Version : The night the lights went out...in my P39

Ok weird weird weird. A few days ago I noticed that the cockpit lights in my P39 no longer come on. When I press the key I hear the usual audible "CLICK" but nothing comes on. All other planes I tried seem to still work like normal and I've not changed anything in the game etc.

This is really strange and has never happened before. I'm at a loss as to what the heck is going on. Anyone else experianced this???

As I try to only play in servers with "harder" settings (cockpit only view, no speedbar) and the time of day can be anything set by the host....... you can see my problem. Now I know it's not the end of the world or anything but I'm really puzzled as to why they inexplicabley just stopped working.

In the immortal words of Grandpa Simpson "It's dark and cold and there's wolves out here......" Please help.

Could be some odd sort of driver issue. Have you posted in technical support yet?

Hmmz, lights have never separate fuses, only landing lights maybe. indication lights always have the same fuse or CB as the system it is supposed to indicate.

I dunno much about WWII fighters but, I think it quite universal.

Hmmmm.... ok. Besides the smart @ss answers (which I expected to get in this forum /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif ) I thank you Tully. I knew I should have posted there but figured more people would read it here and/or some else may have experianced it. A driver issue? Maybe, but just affecting 1 plane and no others???

Oh and thanks guys I'll run right out to my hanger I built beside my garage and check the fuses on my real P39. Which I keep in reserve in case the germans come again. Good idea eh?

Maybe you had the "lights-off" option on in the air-raid menu?
