Hi,

I just bought IL2 1946, couple weeks back. I'm enjoying it http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Using a Nvidia BFG 6800GT. Using resolution 1280x1024. Is there a way to change default display refresh rate of the game? I tried to forcing it through the nvidia control panel. But it seems not to be working. Still stuck at 60Hz... All my other games I'm able to set it to 75Hz... Using a CRT so at 60Hz it's a bit to hard for my old eyes http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Thanks

Practical experience teaches to have the desktop resolution the same as the games before launching.

I use Refresh Force. http://www.pagehosting.co.uk/rf/

Having an ATI card, I also use the profile manager with desktop shortcuts to have res, AA, AF, ect set to my preference before stating FB.

Also, sig guidelines are 500x150, 60Kb max. Please make the appropriate changes.

Get and use Coolbits 2.
After you have merged it, "refresh rate overrides" will be available under your 6800GT properties.

Go to the webpage of the CRT maker. Using their drivers, you can usually get anywhere from a 5-15 bump in refresh rate over the M$ plug and play drivers, depending on the resolution.

Coobit was already tried. For IL2, it was not working for some reason...

CRT drivers from manufacturers, was already installed. It did not helped the issue.

The small Refresh Force application. That did the trick, Thanks Steve. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

And thanks all for your quick assistance. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif
