This is a follow-up question to the thread posted by relentess_702 regarding hardware settings within the game for pitch, roll and yaw. I tried using 100% across the board, and could never "catch up" with the virtual aircraft. Then, I tried some of the other recommended settings and ended up going back to the game default settings, with 0 deadband and 50%filtering. Question: which settings most closely approximate the Real World response to flight control input?

It depends on which aircraft you're flying.

BTW, I'd recommend not using filtering unless you're having spiking problems with your joystick. It smooths out sudden pilot inputs a bit, but it also delays aircraft response unnecessarily. It's better to learn to use smooth inputs without the aid of filtering.

For more information on joystick settings (if you haven't already seen it) try the "Joysticks..." link under my signature picture.
