Hey all, a quick question.

Is there anything that can be done (in the config file, perhaps) to tone done the sensitivity of jet engines? I'm all for realism in a WW2 setting, but my mates and I are projecting out a bit from WW2 in a coop campaign, and I'd like some jet engines that don't die or errupt into flames whenever a player touches the throttle (I know, I know, be gentle).

Any ideas?

thanks!

SH

That's the only way I can "fly" 'em. 80 to 90 percent power in the combat zone.

Flyin' formation must be a b1tch! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_eek.gif

when you select the ME262 open the throttle to full power, then when it spawns it will accelerate up to that without catching fire......... or it used to http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

There doesn't seem to be much consistency to this issue. Some days you can vary the throttle quite aggressively and everything is fine. Other days, just move it 2 or 3%, and http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/784.gif! The AI pilots seem to have no trouble keeping formation without engine problems.

GO-229 is the hardest to keep formed up in. The YP-80 is the easiest. The Me-262 and He-162 are somewhat in between. I also vary the throttle quite a good bit during combat and most of the time I can get by.
