Yup, I flew a few missions but so far, it is very good. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

Nothing too hard or too complicated, just a staightforward campaign, done very well. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

You can really show off now, with the improved P-47

shall be judged: and with what
measure ye mete, it shall be
measured to you again.

USAF (United States Air Force)?

You mean USAAF (US Army Air Force). USAF is a post war creation, when it was oficially detached from US Army -as it was in fact, yet, since the reformation of USAAC (US Army Air Corps), in the 30s.

I'm still playing this and I think it's great so far.

I've just finished the mission where you have to intercept some Stukas, is it me or does the flight leader always crash?

Anyway, it's great fun. Will look forward to playing the other missions.

Extreme_one,

Yup...kudos for the campaign. Alot of fun so far! I love the interludes done in engine with the old film camera effect. Fantastic!

I had to go all the way to page three for this thread?

I just wanted to say thanks to Extreme_one for his effort. I couldn't get online yesterday for awhile and decided to fire up single-player.

I remembered I had DL'd and installed his USAAF campaign and gave it a whirl.

Very cool! It's obvious much time and effort went into its production. From the intro movie to the briefings and the mission content.

Thanks for the kind words Thunderbolt56.

And the campaign focuses on the 56th Fighter Group, flying in Thunderbolts.

Talk about the campaign you HAD to fly in! /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif
