If you remember I was building a giant scale P-51D 89 inch wingspan. This time I went a little smaller and a different warbird: the P-47D-22 Razorback.

It's from the 348FG PTO nicknamed "Bonnie". I've been building it for months in my basement. It's got a 55 inch wingspan and weighs in at 7 pounds. It's 99% complete with working retractable landing gear. It's powered by an O.S. Max 46 AX and has 6 servos. All I gotta do now is find the nose art.

Here's a short video:

Looks good. Is that kit rated for that engine though? (prop looks a little small is all). I'd bet one of those twin or even radial rc engines would add a very cool element of sound to the model as well.

Nonetheless, it looks like you've done a fine job on it. Let's see some pics of it airborn!

No, the prop is the recommended size for that motor 10 x 7. The 46 AX is more than enough power for this plane.

Nice http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif
But the prop looks tiny compared to the rest of the model http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_eek.gif

It may look small in the pics but I assure you it' the correct size for that motor and plane.

Here's another short video of it in semi-action.
