GoGamer has it listed as being released mid Febuary but I don't think that's realistic, somewhere on the publishers website I think they mention April, here's a link.

Had a look at the demo movie.. it looked ..well Not that good compared to Red Orchestra (http://www.redorchestragame.com/index.php).
But be careful with this lot.. a lot of unpredictable hotheads/'juveniles', compared to IL2/SH players

I have and played "Red Orchestra" I love the grafics. Two big criticisms I have is, 1)There aren't enough buttons on my keyboard to assign for all of the commands in the game. 2)I in a Panther, shot and hit a T-34/85 at less than 500yds. In the middle of the turret ring and it had no effect. Yes it was an AP shell loaded.

I had an uncomfortable moment using the T-34 V TIG demo when I indulged in some "testing" and shot a fellow T-34-85 in the ring with AP from about 100 meters---the shot went zinging off like a rifle bullet. Tried over and over again and had the same result. Maybe they banned own-side shots in the demo, but, if not, there is trouble in River City. Will still buy it right off. The detail is incredible. Of course, I hope it is great. I used to play RED ORC but I was never that impressed with its detail. LOVED the Sov AT rifle! Oh what fun I had with it sniping German medium tanks from point-blank in the flanks or rear. It and the battle tanks were my favs.

There's a point when you assault the main entrance at the top of the stairs. Pillars all around you, your using them as cover. Soviets come out from behind and the fire storm starts. Listen to the surround sound. Up here in Boston there is a court building similar to the one in the game only smaller. The ambient echo is correct. Very realistic, the sounds of your own gun and the guns at a distance. Falling casings and when your MG team finally arives and opens fire,it's almost orgasmic!

Angle is important...

There are two 'sweet spots' on a T-34.
a) Below the machine gunner where the armour curves. You hit this and it blows up One-Time.. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif You have to hit this close to 90 degrees.

b) Between the tracks just behind the turret on both sides. Again at 90 degrees.

I've hit these many times with a lowly Panzer-3 (or 4) I think it was - don't pay much attention to what I use, but this tank had a mean AP shell http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

I was on the one map where I hid my tank in a bush, and I could take them out (side hits) at ~1000m. Did this for about 15 minutes until they avoided my area completely - they had no idea where is was coming from - felt real good. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

Like it or not, until T-34 V TIG and STEEL FURY demos came along, there was zip for the WWII tank simmer except RED ORC and that WWII East Front mod for that 1980s Sov Bloc vs West Bloc sim (which I tried, it was OK). RED ORC wasn't as egregious as CALL OF DUTY by a long shot. Having been to Hell and back with the ghastly modded PANZER ELITE (the original, not the arcade game), I found RED ORC refreshing, and I enjoyed using the weapons never modeled elsewhere, like the AT rifle, which was a real hoot. You also had a big environment so you could go on large outflanking maneuvers. Things like the slow rate-of-fire of the JS-2, and its small ammo load were accurately handled, as well as the lethality of its big (5") HE round. I used to enjoy getting one into a sniping position and shooting a Panther or Tiger I in the turret ring with that lovely HE round. Instant decapitation!---as one would expect. RED ORC wasn't my cup of tea, but it had many good points, not the least of which was real interaction between infantry and tanks.
