Well i have a question,is he still in the modeling bussines? It could be I just overloocked everything but is he? and another question is.

When the IL2-center was still up on xanty's development screenshots of the he111 was a V1 so I ask myself where it went to,that V1??
Maybe it'll come with the new add-on?

Yes the V1 is coming in the paid add-on, and is going to be able to be tipped over by using your wingtips. There are some screenies of it c/w launching ramp somewhere, I think it might be the Dev. Updates. Go back through them and you could be in luck.
Cheers!

It was soon found that the VI, with a speed of slightly more than 400mph, outpaced all available fighter aircraft except the newly introduced Hawker Tempest V, which, with its 2,180hp Napier Sabre engine had a maximum speed in level flight of 436mph. Roderic Hill's 12 Group, which attempted initially to attack the VI Bombs with Spitfires and Typhoons as well as the Tempest, found that attempting to shoot down the VI was both unreliable and hazardous - at 400 yds the VI, with a wingspan of only 17.5 feet, presented too small a target; at 200 yds the attacking aircraft was likely to be destroyed along with its target as the 1,870 lb of high explosive in the VI blew up. Nonetheless, many were detonated in the air by cannon fire. However, the RAF pilots devised a precision flying technique by which the airflow over the upper surface of a Tempest's wing, positioned only inches below the wing of the Flying Bomb, disturbed the aerodynamic performance of the VI's wings sufficiently to tip the bomb over and send it crashing into the sea. In one way or the other, RAF fighters, mainly Tempests, accounted for more than a third of the VIs that were destroyed before they reached London and its suburbs.

the first decent source I could find using google. Not sure if all the facts are correct but the principle is there.

Cheers!

Yes, I am still here, and modelling (no time to play though)

the he-111 is kind of progressing very very slowly. i got a few low res pics that can help me make the H-11 and the Z variant...but don't hold your breath.

The Cr.42 its 98% finished, with the external done long ago and in the game.

The V1 was finished by Maddox, and may come in the add-on...and if a H-16/23 ever gets done...in it too/i/smilies/16x16_man-happy.gif

As for other works, well, I wish I could have the time to do all I would like. howeverm thanks to Rafael and Caspar, I am working on the fantastik Douglas A-20 twin engined attack plane. I am in charge of 3D consultation, advice, good chats and the external at present. If only I had more time.

Check out www.netwings.org (http://www.netwings.org) website and forums for more info.

And also...use the seach here..sometimes it works.

It is good to have fans../i/smilies/16x16_man-very-happy.gif
