Hi all. Just wanted to drop a note here about our new movie for FB. "Red Tailed Ace" a Tribute to Lee "Buddy" Archer. Lee Archer is the only confirmed ace of the famed Tuskegee Airmen. He is still alive today and makes regular appearances when he can.

So, for a change of pace please stop by the site. In addition,Hauptman99's dad sent me an updated movie list since France Simulations added about 8 new movies this past week. S! to all.

I've posted on this before, but it's relevant here...again. Here in Central Florida we have the private collection of Kermitt Weeks called "The Fantasy of Flight". It is a great collection and is open to the public (for a fee). It's worth every penny and one of his planes is a P-51C painted in the colors of Lee Archer's Mustang.

Here's a link: http://fantasyofflight.com/p51c.html

Hey Mr. UCLANUPE, I got your PM and thanks for updating the picks pages.

I really liked this movie sir. Mr. Archer was a totally great pilot. Me and my dad went to the link that tells about his career. Wow! That is totally cool stuff that I never knew about. Even my dad didn't know about it and he knows ALOT about WWII.

I have a couple of questions. Does FRAPS 2.0 capture the sound too? I was not sure of that, cause I heard ALOT of sounds from the game under that great music! Who was singing that last song, Sam Cooke? How did you fly the P-51 and still get those great kills? You really must be an ace pilot to do that! See ya later.

UCLANUPE,

Great tribute for a great man! Really like the music you used, it moved me especially when I saw the red tail on display, very good. What made me laugh was your outro using OPF, what is that? Some guys looking at a dead soldier? Weird as my E.T. for my movie! /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif Great work, it's a keeper!

NP UCLANUPE. If you ever get to go, there's a movie where Kermitt and Lee fly it and discuss some of the flight characteristics. (about 40 min.)

Definitely worth a looksee.

Hey Erik. S! Yes the new FRAPS is just awesome. I am able to capture up to 1024X768 plus sound, its a great little program. Sam Cooke yes indeed, a great voice, smooth as silk!

Ok let's get something straight, I'm no ace. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif Concerning the kills, there is no secret there, just proper preparation in the use of the FMB little buddy /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif S!

Hey NTESLA. S! Now you know why I have been a little out of touch concerning our last discussion /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

We searched high and low for the "right" music for this piece. So many more factors to consider when making a tribute to a real person. Happy that you felt something because we were going for that a bit.

Glad you laughed at the end because that is what it is there for in a way /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif That's the team standing over him and the guy from POD saying "Hey Mr. Deadman rejoice" in that semi-jamaican accent is kind of comical right? Just something different to release the tension around the studio you know.

I'll e-mail about that other stuff soon. S!
