That 153 is one of the best looking planes in the game.

I love flying the Gladiator, the cockpit is just awesome and it is something different to be able to out turn everything coming from 190A6s and A8s http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

I personally love I153 and those 20 mm (P versions). Somebody knows how many of them were fighting?

I voted I-153; haven't quite warmed to the Gladi and the Fiat. Shame the P.11 doesn't count, I select it more than any of these three, all though to be honest I haven't given the Gladi proper attention (200 flyable planes!).

I like the J8A the best of the bipes, but the I-153 is probably the best performer because of its retracts, cannon option, and wider loadout options incl. rockets.

Best should be Fiat Cr.42 due to speed (HB Object viewer). But I prefer Sea Gull; it has neat retractable wheels, can carry rockets, and in one version in game we have hard hitting ShVAK's.

Yeah, I was wondering about that Log-in thing. Thought a spy-programme had got past my firewall.
Anyway, in terms of fun and ease to fly I'd pick the I-153 as it is fast, powerful, and manoeuvreable. I think the U-2Vs is a pretty looking plane, too.

Hey, if we're talking overall (not just in-game) then I'd have to say the good ol' Stearman. I've logged a number of hours in one and it's easily one of the best times I've had flying.

In history, I-190, easy:

In PF, fiat. The greatest challenge to be succsessful in versus other biplanes.

I deleted the post in quesion... but I'm not sure of what the problem was a far as the quesion above.
If there was any Spy Program or Etc... my anti-spyware or anti-virus did not pick-up any... that concerns me as I have multiple programs protecting my Rig... and I don't take such programs lightly.
I am very sorry for not picking that up before posting the photo from that site and will be more selective in my future post.

The I-153 is the wildest airplane in the sim. I was using the P version all the time until crushed by the bad news in Gordon and Dexter's POLIKARPOV BIPLANE FIGHTERS (Midland, 2002) on page 96---only eight experimental ones were built. Even so---the Soviet light MG was the best in the world at the time and the Chaika can trim the sails of any aircraft---if it can get close. A really crazy brawl is to pit Chaikas against Finnish Buffs---it is a snarling, whirling, nasty fight---highly recommended!

Hey, been in those they are fun!
In early war maps a well flown biplanes will pretty much pwn everything that it comes across.
But, you definatly have to fly it right or you are dead meat. I have been flying the fiat alot on some of the spits v 109s maps. I have to say there is nothing quite like swatting down a hurricane from the pit of a fiat. The first 2 or three seconds after the hurricane realizes that the engine is on fire they fly kind of suprised. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Folks tend to underestimate the biplanes. This causes them to make very stupid mistakes, like getting into turn fights and running close to stall with them. Once thay do that they are dead meat http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/crackwhip.gif

I have a QMB scenario which is diabolical: Moscow 1, 1000m, Poor, Disadvantage, 0530. My aircraft: I-16 Type 18. AI: Veteran J8A. I don't want to give too much away but I hope you have good nerves. Anybody who does well in the CR42 gets my admiration. I get lost in the jungle of struts and the low upper wing gives me the feeling I'm dogfighting through the slit of a medieval knight's helmet. I prefer the I-153 because it has the crazy lift of a high-powered biplane without the upper wing blocking vision.
