Thanks for sharing photos of your visit KF http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

Was there a special event on when you visited the museum? What happened in the 'Bomber Briefing'?

I'm hoping to visit Duxford in the next few weeks. I see you managed to get some good shots inside the B-17. Am I right in saying that visitors can walk/look inside the Lancaster they have there?

Hmmm... It doesn't say one way or the other on the Duxford website. But on a couple of KF's photos, I just noticed there is a set of white steps leading up to the main crew door, near the tail:

Unfortunately, the links to the larger shots of the Lanc seem to be broken on KF's gallery page. Hopefully he'll drop by soon and tell us what he knows... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Interesting indeed, i still doubt it BUT if it turned out to be true i'd be wanting a look as well. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

Oh, i remember somewhere around here is a an odd little museum that has a lancaster radio room and cockpit you certainly can go inside, even has the old radar in it.
It's not exactly the whole thing but if you can't get into any other and really want to i'd reccomend it.
I'll try to remember what the place is called...
