I tried searching to avoid bothering anyone with a question that probably has been answered many times but no joy.
Is it possible to have a short intro track shared during an online coop?
What I'd like to do is have a brief recon style track to show a ground target for an online coop bombing mission.
a. Is it possible? and if so
b. What is the procedure please?

Thanks for your time.

I have never heard of anyone doing this. My guess is it is not possible.

However, an alternate idea would be to put the track in an offline campaign and have each player view it and then join the coop game. This will require all the players to have the tracks and offline campaign loaded on their machines and then hop in and out of the offline and online modes, but that really only takes a few seconds.

This might be something worth considering.

Zeus-cat;
thanks. I haven't even been able to get the "tracks between offline campaign missions" function to work. The instructions in the manual seem clear enough but I just can't get that to work so was hoping there might be a "custom" instruction manual on this and the online aspect.
Thanks anyway.

theres often issues with different versions of the game http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

just open up a usermade campaign (the file which sets out the order, cant remmber what its called tho..) and see what is in there, then just copy that http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

OK, thanks guys.
I had used a static camera over the target and just told everybody to Ctrl-F2 prior to taking off. I just thought having some type of "briefing film" would have added to the immersion. It's too bad you can't stick a graphic in the map screen that would have helped too. As you say though there are workarounds such as static camera etc.
Oh well, just thought i'd ask. Thanks again.
