I'm sure we all know what I'm talking about.

After you kill someone, the body goes into their "Death Animation" so to speak, then at a very obvious point in time, the Rag-Doll animation takes over and a movement ranging from a slight twitch to becoming airborne and flipping end over end (Yes, I've seen that happen) occurs.

.. Will Ubisoft have fixed this by now?

If these guys added a new Head-Raise Animation, they`ll have it all over the Internet.
what im saying is that any new Feature added, no matter how Insignificant it may be, will be announced.
and if they did fix it they would`v said by now.
dont you think so too ?

Oh and welcome to the Forums, the friendliest Forum on Earth.

I agree. It's like an after death twitch but instead they have a full body convulsion. It's funny after you beat the game but during the story, you're so engrossed in it, it's so good, and all of a sudden a dead man you just took care of comes back to life for a second. They should try and fix it to make it more realistic. It takes me out of the experience every time it happens.

Can someone do a PS so that Patrick is wearing an assassin outfit? 'Cause that'd be awesome.

It got a lot better in the transition from Assassin's Creed 2 to Brotherhood. At least in Brotherhood they wouldn't slide off every slope imaginable. Trust me, they've probably fixed it or at least made it less noticeable.

Seriously, if they made it not ridiculous, would you even kill anyone? I mean, most of us here like to kill a guard and see what their body will do!

Actually, they have fixed that issue, by making guard corpses much heavier, so they do twitch when they die/the ragdoll takes over, but it looks like a last second death throe, more than a glitch.

It also makes it harder for a guard to slip off of a slanted roof.

This fix has been in since Brotherhood. We don't know if this will be added onto in Revelations. But the changes in Brotherhood indicate they're aware of the issue.

I don't.

Who else doesn't?

This is true. It's still a little unrealistic though.

well i dont expect it to happen but when it does it can be pretty funny

the funniest one is when the body looks like it is been torn apart and flies around the screen

but ya, the dead bodies become more realistic every game, so it will probably be improved in ACR

It was annoying when they slid off of the roofs. Actually, that's all they really did, so I didn't even notice anyone twitching post-mortem.

Also, i'd like to see the body have more weight to them. They seem like they literally are made out of rubber. But they were better in Brotherhood. They'll probably be fine in Revelations.

I loved that twitch. Most of the time I would draw some guards on a roof for the fun of it, if you throw them on a pole then its just hilarious. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

I wonder if the twitch is realistic. I should ask my mom about that. As for the guards sliding off the roofs, that's just realistic. Though perhaps they should roll (sometimes) rather than slide.

lol Nice one BK http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif.

How long did it take you?

BK-110

I guess about half an hour, and still my lines aren't as clean as I'd want them to be. I guess that says something about how long it takes me to finish one of my usual drawings (which includes shading, lighting, a lot more detail and such)... I was slightly perfectionistic about trying to draw clean lines in one take, which is quite different from how I normally do it.

Although that is probably of little interest to most. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif Reminds me that I should finally make some decent Assassin's Creed fan art!

Well i personally love hearing about how long stuff actually takes and what goes into actually making things and stuff.

Most people really don't realise how much work goes into a lot of things and sometimes how much time has been spent on them as well.

To be honest i think it looks awesome for only spending half-an-hour lol, but i'm no drawing expert and have no basis on what a normal thing should take lol.

Apparently the corpse's "twitch" when they die is quite realistic. It's actually quite common for bodies to do something like that when they die. I think Ubi put it in there to shroud the somewhat awkward change from a living guard to a ragdoll in the game.

i get annoyed when the blood on the dead guards disappears after a few seconds and im like, where are all the stab and slash wounds i left on this guy?!?!?! the blood graphics on the bodies could do with being upgraded but to be honest i think all major improvements will be put into AC3, from what ive seen of ACR not much has changed since ACB unfortunately

That would take a huge toll on the CPU.
