Whilst fiddling around with my Ubi profile, settings etc., I noticed a rating called Karma. Does anyone know what it is for?

Something tells me you don't know what a Reliant Robin is and you've never met Peter Stringfellow.

Allow me.

This plastic piece of motoring excrement is a Reliant Robin.

This man with the child on his arm is Peter Stringfellow. We don't talk about him except in hushed tones.

I'm not sure the response times to a 'Stringfellow incident' would do the service much credit. Once they'd gotten the kids out they'd back off and let 'Stringfellow' burn itself out. Safer that way. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Pre-hickey manouver. It leaves quite a whelt but it's relatively painless.

What can I say, it's fearsome looking but if you can deal with inch deep incissor slashes as a show of affection it's a very rewarding pet.

They used to do a "Hot Hatch" version of the Reliant it was called the Bond Bug

Following the take over of Bond in August 1970 Reliant stopped all Bond models but prior to this, they had commissioned Ogle (their design consultants) to produce a sports 3-wheeler for the "young" generation. This was to be sold under the Bond name as the "Bond Bug". Introduced in June 1970, the early Bond Bugs were manufactured at the Bond factory in Preston but shortly afterwards when the factory closed, Bug production was moved over to Reliant at Tamworth. (UK) The Bond Bug used all the mechanics of a Reliant Regal including the 700cc water-cooled engine. The only non-Regal part was the coil spring suspension at the rear of the car (instead of the Regal's telescopic damper.) The Bug featured a complete glass fibre body in a futuristic wedge shape that had a lift up front canopy that incorporated
the side windows and allowed access to the vehicle. Every Bug that was made was painted bright orange with black seats and trim. The vehicle came in three specifications; the 700, 700E and 700ES. The 700 was the standard model that featured none of the luxuries found on other models. This resulted in a prop being used to hold open the body and no side screens. The 700E was the deluxe version that included a telescopic canopy damper, side screens, heater, and a number of extra internal features though a spare wheel was still classed as an extra. The 700ES was the same as the 700E but was powered by a higher compression engine and featured a spare wheel, wing mirrors, mud flaps and a racing steering wheel amongst many other additional features.

In 1973 at the same time as the launch of the 750 Reliant Robin the Bond Bug 700 models were discontinued in favour of the new 750cc engine. Two new models came out which were the Bond Bug 750E and 750ES which apart from the larger engine were almost identical to their 700cc predecessors.

The Bond Bug however was not as successful as Reliant had hoped and so after some 2,268 vehicles were built manufacture stopped in May 1974, which also brought an end to the Bond name.

Ploughman, I gotta ask about your mutant penguin.

Did you photoshop this yourself?

Is it a female penguin with pms?(Reminds me of my x)

Did you get it from wierd. com?

Is it a Wolperdinger?

Just curious because knowing the background of it might stop my nightmares. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

I don't have any pics but in many cities in China they use 3 wheeled cars. I haven't seen any in Beijing but I've seen them in some off the smaller cities(ShenYang 11 million people). They are shaped kinda like a elongated egg.

Prisch it's a photo. The beast moved into my yard last week and looks like it's going to stick around so I thought I'd make it famous. I know it looks scarey as hell but it's all bark and no bite, in fact most of the time it just sits there eating my petunias. I tried teaching it to play football yesterday but it, well, ate the ball. The dogs scared of it though.

So let me get this?

The motoring excrement is NOT Peter Stringfellow, but the Reliant Robin comes with an inflatable sex-toy as an optional extra?

Or, the motoring excrement is Peter Stringfellow's jacket, but that's just his bad Karma for seducing adolescent girls?

Confusing.

well yes.... in some countries they burn dried cowpats for heat, in the UK we use Robins, the burn out in about 30 seconds when they get going, boy do they burn, you get a gearbox and 3 wheels for your trouble the fiberglass body becomes a pile of ash..
