Wow, that all rhymed.

Anyways, I saw a gameplay montage for Bound in Blood earlier today and one feature really stuck out as being a bad idea:

The red glow.

All the enemies glow red making them easier to see...and I feel that this is at the expense of the immersion factor that the first Call of Juarez had. I'd really like to see the red glow removed.

FEAR 2 added glowing enemies in slow mo too which I think it's just absolutely the wrong way to go. There's no reason for it. It's like, "hey, we know we already made the enemies move really slow for you, and we know you intentionally pressed the button, but we decided to make the enemies glow too just in case you're really thick and didn't notice them."

Does anyone else feel the same way?

Ubisoft, if you're reading this: get rid of the red glow. Thanks!

EDIT:

Just watched this interview:

http://www.gametrailers.com/player/47468.html

Apparently there are multiple slow mo mechanics now.

One of them is auto-aim. The other one is auto-shoot. In addition to the original quickdraw mode.

You can see the red glow in that video. I'm not to fond of the auto-aim thing either. I like to both aim AND shoot in my shooters.
