He he he, not so unbelievable. We used to have an African Grey and a Senegal. The Senegal had a nasty habit of screeching very high pitched for about 15 mins at a time. This sound was totally annoying. The African Grey was great at mimicing my mother. When the Senegal started his audio bombardment the Grey would scream" Shut up! shut up! You little mother f***ing mcnugget". It was a little bit embarrassing when we had visitors.

Had two African Grey's and a Yellow Napped Parrot. The Yellow Napped actually taught our first Grey to talk.

The Yellow napped would bite the Cat's tail and yell "Ouch" followed by hysterical laughter. Once at the vets office, it's underside was being checked and the vet had it on it's back, while he touched it's belly. The bird was laughing hysterically (like he was being tickled) the whole time, causing the vet and his assistant to laugh so hard we were all crying.

Anyway our first Grey would say' "Hello", everytime the phone rang, he would say "Opps", evertime he dropped someting, and believe it or not my mom potty trained him. Scary thing was that he also perfectly mimicked the sound of the screen door sliding open; would give me quite a scare everytime, cause I thought someone was comming in our house.

Unfortunately, we didn't have our second Grey long enough to get him to talk, cause we moved up North, and my Mom sold him to keep him in a warm climate.

Yep, I had an african gray until it bit my son. Now my aunt has it. It was very jealous of my wife. When my wife would get close to me it wold have a fit. Out side of that I really liked it. And they talk very well.

African Greys huh

A bit like bobs our was very jealous if anyone went near my mother. It had its own tree in the house, lots of toy etc etc.

But no, it would rather stroll accross the floor like john wayne and bite everyones toes. This thing went through trainers and hurt. I am quite a handy man when it come to looking after myself but I never visited my mum as much when she had that blasted bird (it scared the hell out of me). It bit one of my kids and thats when we decided to get rid.

Ha ha ha, yes it is the way my mother talks. She can be more annoying than the parrots screaming. The parrots were always 200db below my mother's unique capability. My brother and I used to pi** her off just to see if she could actually break glass. Something a little more funny to me is that my father is "old school" German. Hmmm, match made in heaven?
