During her winter inspection they have discovered that the Engine is making metal.

The Result is a decision has been made and the Engine is coming out....... I have included some pics for you, She is only held in at this point by the bearers, so once the prop is off the Engine will be dropped and another Engine is being readied to be lifted in.. I did not have my tripod with me and I was hand holding the camera in low light, so the depth of field on some of these shots is a bit lacking, but its a rare opportunity to let you see it in the flesh without all the associated junk still fitted...

Time permitting I will take my tripod in and get some better shots and perhaps take some of the lift for you all.

TaylorTony - So you have a 0 hour engine as a spare? And is the current engine going to be able to be repaired.

My question. What metal is she making, and from where? Fuzz or chunks? The pics are pure sex! Thanks.

"Making Metal" means that the bearings begin to disintegrate and wind up in the oil screen, IIRC.

Metal is not 100% sure of where it is from, but safety wise its prudent to pull it.

Yes, they have a spare engine to fit and it is being finally prepped....

The old engine will be eventually overhauled, but may be used for other uses before then.....

No Stack, it aint mine http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Oh and for what its worth in the Scheme of things, outside the industry you are probably the first to know about it and indeed to see it..

I did hope some of the pictures I have would be useful to those modellers out there that build super detailed kits http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
