Thanks for posting those settings! I am going to get a force feedback stick soon and was wandering 2 things.

1. Those settings that were posted. How does it change the performance as apposed to the default settings when it comes to flying and aircraft control?

2. ( OFF TOPIC ) Does the original il2 support force feedback? I am soon to be getting Forgottten Battles and will those settings work for both games?

1. Usually the default settings are too jumpy at the beginning of the movement (Atleast for me), it's a bit hard to understand how those sliders work, but after you get hang of it you should experiment 'till you get the settings you like

2. Both games support force feedback. And settings work for both games.

PS. Here's my settings, I'm using a bit different way to setup than hornetsting. Though I still don't like how the rudder feels, no matter what I do it feels too jumpy, but that could be just the small amount of rotation allowed by the stick (MS' stick, rudder on the handle)

But anyways, you can test these too and see if you like these or hornetstings better, before you make your own perfect settings /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif :

Sorry to divert topics, but on the subject of joystick settings, what do you bind the settings on your stick to??

I have an MS Sidewinder Precision 2 and am not sure what to bind the buttons to.

What would you say were priorities to bind to a button?

I know the three axis are X,Y and Z.
Maybe someone could tell me what:
RZ
FF
U
V
1X
1Y
1RZ
1U
1v
are for?

Thanks in advance.

I have a Logitech Wingman Force 3D.
Beside sensitivity adjustements that look like those shown in this thread, my binding are:

Button 1 (trigger): Cannons
Button 2 (top left): machine guns
Button 3 (down left): bombs or rockets
Button 4 (top right): center view
Button 5 (down right): hide/show cockpit
Button 6 (near throttle): WEP
Button 7 (near 6): crosshair view

Then there is the keyboard... /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif
