I was wondering:

I'm not one of the lucky fellows to receive a black edition (I live in the Netherlands, mind you) but I've always been intrigued by game soundtracks. I'm a media designer, therefor I often use orchestrated pieces in my films and such - besides being an admirer of good background music.

Most notably pieces like the Max Payne or the Metal Gear Solid theme, as well as all of the GTA themes and the Mirror's Edge theme. Halo's Silent Cartographer.. Well orchestrated pieces of music, I say you.

I have several soundtracks of Jesper Kyd and most of the tracks he makes are well worth listening to. I was wondering if anyone has already purchased or gotten the soundtrack of Assassin's Creed II and could tell me what they felt about it - if it was worth buying, so to speak. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

"Flight over Venice 2" seems like a good investment though, I received some great vibes from that 30-second sample.

Absolutely. I think It is well worth the buy. I haven't got my Black Edition yet (less than a day away for me!). But I've listened to alot of the songs and they're amazing! And there's 35 of them! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I think you should get it. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
