I'm just curious how the Radeon 9800pro can work across the three monitors like that (possible in 2D but no 3*1600x1200 support here for sure) Unfortunately, the system and 3 LCDs wouldn't work properly in Strumovik.

There is a program written for FS 2002 and 2004 that will let you use unlimited number of monitors but each requires a separate computer. I wish something like this were written for this sim as well.

Otherwise, this system doesn't do anything except looking pretty in pictures.

EDIT: I should have said that it doesn't do anything more than a 3.2GHZ w/ R9800pro would since the card is the bottleneck in FB right now.

It's got some rippingly fast hardware innovations - and alot of custom drivers for XP. The Cache drive alone is a tremendous performance enhancer.

Nice system. The annoying part is, it'll be outclassed in two months notice /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Oh so true. However outclassed is not equal to outdated. I was shocked to see how many people were able to run LOMAC with less than 1.0ghz custom built gaming systems. Most of course have great motherboards, RAM and video cards. These kinds of systems take a longer time to become outdated/not useable because of the fantastic initial setups and upgradeability they usually have. So its not like you would need to shell out that kind of cash every 6-12 months, although there are folks that do that. I don't happen to be one of them, so my new system will have to last for at least 3 years. I just plan to upgrade if needed along the way.

At the start of WW2 the German army lacked experienced anti-aircraft gunners. The average gunner was so bad that the USSR decided to help them out. They did it by forcing some of their pilots to fly I-153 flak magnets. These planes were slow but very sturdy. This allowed German anti-aircraft gunners to get a large amount of target practice on a relatively small number of planes. Thanks to the Soviets help, by the end of the war the German anti-aircraft gunners were amoung the best in the world.</center>

Seriously, I had to sell myself as a slave to get the money, and I doubt I'd get it anyway. That's so humiliating... /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif

"Windows(r)98/ME/XP/2000
Pentium III 800/AMD Athlon 600 or better
256 MB RAM (512 MB RAM recommended)
3D video card (DirectX 8.1 compatible) w/32MB RAM (128MB recommended)
Sound Card (Direct 8.1 compatible)
DirectX 8.1 or higher (included on disc)
4X CD-ROM or better (Not recommended for use with CD-RWs)
Internet connection (56 kbps or better) or LAN for multiplayer
Hard Drive Space 1.1 GB"

In reality the minimum system specs are 1GB of RAM and an ATI 9700 Pro or higher. Atleast it's that way for the demo.

The A10 mission runs very well for me except when I watch the rockeyes blow. But that Mig mission brings my system to a halt with those damn clouds. I get 37 fps when paused or using a non moving camera view (like fly by) but in cockpit or chase I get about 8 fps because the clouds keep re-caching themselves or something.

Hey Tsisqua, where did you order your Operton system from and what are the specs? I just changed my P4 3.2ghz Alienware system to the new AMD FX processor. The price difference was minimal, but the performance difference is substantial! Happy gaming!
