Today I found out that a friend of mine had his leg blown off in Iraq.
Lets spare a thought for the boys and girls who will not be home with their families this Christmas.

That's terrible for him. Dreadful.

We often forget these things are happening while we are worried by unimportant things.

My sympathies and best wishes for your friend. Hope he'll be back home soon. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif

My best wishes to your friend and his family.

I'm sure loss of a limb is a horrible thing to endure, but he can rest assured that many of us back here in the states appreciate his sacrifices.

I wish someone would wise up and do something about this stupid war.

The hollidays are here and its till going on. And another boatload of cash was approved for war in washington today.

12-19-2007, 07:09 PM
I =Salute= him and all the men and women doing what I cannot anymore.

I absolutely don't want to start anything political, but the progress made by the both the Coalition and Iraqi people is extraordinary, and is barely mentioned in the news. I suspect that the media is salivating over the next big attack so they can continue to justify their disgraceful reporting of the improvements over there.

12-19-2007, 07:29 PM
i'm afraid the media doesn't report because its not in the best interest of the media to tell the truth.

the company i work for won an award from an industry magazine. we are a communications company.

the magazine is owned by defense propaganda publishing company.

its fact. it can be proven. you are being lied to. wake up. your brothers are dieing.

for oil.

oil to keep the nafta superhighway going.

wake up.

please. wake up. the evidence is there.

My eternal gratitude to all who are and have been fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan against those who would bring more horror to those hapless people.

Willy is he in an infantry unit out of Washington (state)?

12-20-2007, 01:20 PM
I hate to hear about (and see) things like this. My thoughts are with him and all the others, not just during this time of year but always.

Breeze, I hope your brother can be with you very soon, mate
