Make this: SP2 integrated XP CD (http://www6.tomshardware.com/howto/20040908/index.html)

It'll make your life easier later. Overal set up time will shorten vastly since at this moment you don't need to download too many stupid patches yet.

Try this for a free XP2 CD! (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/updates/sp2/cdorder/en_us/default.mspx)

No idea. Although most original XPs have come with SP1 integrated yet.

As for SP2 CD, a lot of PC magazines gave it for free these months. Maybe you can still find one in your local press shop.

You can order it from Microsoft directly, as I did http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

No charge at all, not even shipping!

No you don´t need SP1 if you got the SP2!
But after you have installed SP2 go to Window updates and load the latest patches.

Click on the link in my first post to get SP2!!

if you live in the US, staples and a few other retailers have them free much like AOL cd's. Just go in and grab one.
