personally i think it should be ee-zee-oh, as it sounds like it has a more italian sound http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Ah yes, the Italians with their Z's. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif Forgot about that.

And probably not for the last time, it is EZIO, not EIZO. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/shady.gif

Edit: Yeah, I looked at some sites like this one (http://italian.about.com/cs/pronunciation/ht/pronounceconson.htm) and they confirmed what I thought...Ezio does have the funky Z thing where it's pronounced with a t or d before it.

I feel silly. I kept thinking about pizza while trying to figure it out.

D: I suck at pronouncing Italian if my coffee addiction has taught me anything.

I was about to say that the pronunciation he approved of (ee-zee-oh) sounded like some sort of pizza. >_>

I voted for the first one. it seems just right to me. and if you try to pronounce it on an Itallian way, it's sounds exactly as it should. (IMHO) http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

It's "╔-tzi-oh" with an open "E" (and don't exaggerate the "H").

In the rest of the name, also pronounce any vowel as an open one. If you know how to read japanese, read as they would. If you speak spanish or portuguese, also read as though you were speaking in those languages (but don't forget the T-like sound before Zs).

I hope it's not too complicated? There will be always people saying it wrong though (god knows most people still mispronounce Alta´r - who the HELL is "Haltayere"?).
