When I am patrolling the Western approaches to the UK, I occasionally encounter a cargo ship that is not moving. Why is that? Are they waiting for a dock to open up at their destination or are they having mechanical issues? I'm not complaining because it's "Meat on the table". One would think that a prudent captain would at least be steaming in a racetrack pattern just to be moving and not be an easy target. Thanks.

I think this has been discussed and is a well known bug...sometimes you'll find them only doing 1 Knot also...which is frustrating cos you dive get set up in a firing position and then......wait....for a very long time.....for the "meat on the table" to get in your torpedo arc.

or after setting up for an hour, when you finally shoot, the ba*%#$rd speeds up to 9kts.

that sucks.

so i take my frustrations out with the deck gun.
