I,m very curious if you do have a favourite airstrip.
I , myself enjoy the BOBR-airstrip (Smolensk map).
Nicely surrounded on 3 sides with hills and a challenge for landings.
Everybody has his own favourite map(I think) and know therefore the most atmosferic places!
I like to know if there are more of those places which you discouvered.

I love the road airstrips on the new Kurland map. Landings with damaged A-20's has proven to be a real challenge. You need to touchdown almost inside a village to bring it to a stop before you run out of runway. Real fun with a holed wing and only one engine left...

How to make it bigger? Well, post a bigger screenshot http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

If you have originally uploaded a bigger image, photobucket may have resized it automatically if it was larger than 250 kB. Check how big the original image file is and if it is too much, use jpeg compression with lower image quality.

My favorite "airstrip" is the USS Intrepid CV-11.

Mighty and beautiful.

http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/351.gifTotally agree. I can spend hours just doing bad weather landing and takeoffs from the carriers.

Wake is the nicest airstrip in the game IMO. One of the few where I'll actually taxi to dispersal rather than 'Esc' on the runway. Very pretty.

The USS Intrepid may look impressive....nothing beats the view from the Graf Zeppelin though.
