I think Ezio will use the Dagger of Brutus to stab Cesare in the heart at the end.
I think the Dagger of Brutus is something that you get during the main storyline, not as an unlockable.

Since I'm not familar with the Dagger of Brutus, I would have to say that you might be right.

Is there any information on that dagger? I don't recall seeing anything about that in either of the first 2 AC games.

The dagger of brutus is a confirmed short sword that imtimidates others and it makes them flee faster than they normaly would...

Just because it's the only legendary weapon confirmed doesn't mean it'll play a major part in the game. My money's still on the hidden blades... like with every other assassination target

Remember the achievement "Knife to the heart" which you get by securing the Apple of Eden?
Nuff said.

Or it can also refer to Desmond securing the Piece of Eden. Or it could even be metaphorical, like killing Vidic or attacking Abstergo. So many options...

I Really have no idea. I would imagine the last one is when you kill Cesare.

Cesare was killed in Cordoba in 1507 and in a lot of videos that Ubi put out you see the whole "final confrontation" with Ezio and Cesare in spain.

No, Cesare died during the siege of a Spanish town called Viana. Not Cordoba.

To the O.P.. Why would we stab CESARE in the chest with the dagger of Brutus? Are you confusing Cesare (Ches-a-ray. I believe) to Julius Caesar (Kai-zer. or Seize-er)?

The Dagger of Brutus, is the dagger used to kill Julius Caesar ( The roman leader), and we use that in the game. It's unknown if that is THE weapon used to kill Cesare Borgia.

I read somewhere that that the first Spain sequence will be like at the beginning of AC where Altiar fights the final boss, but Desmond rejects the memory

I love it when that happens. Every time it happens, I think of our buddy Subject Sixteen.

Anyways, isn't the dagger just a bonus object off of sidequests?

I don't know about about the Dagger of Brutus. Sounds like a collectable.
I'm looking forward to a Sword of Ezio http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/winky.gif
