Hello all,

If anybody has the ATI RADEON 9200 128 MG vid card, could somebody tell me how FB runs with it?

Are you satisfied with this card?

Thanks,
Ronnie

Hi
Iam a present looking for a new video card too. But waiting for the price to drop on either the 9500 pro or 9600 pro. I dont think 9200 will be worth much in a year and a half. Currently the 9600 pro is a good choice if you'er on a budget and want it to play games a little into the future. Even though its a scaled down version of the 9500, it still support directx ver. 9. But if you want to stay within the price range of the 9200, I would buy a Geforce 4200 Ti 128mb instead. They are dirt cheap, fast, no frills, but no directx 9 support. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif what to choose?

I would go with the 9500pro, it is faster than the 9600pro. But you have to act fast ati will not be making the 9500pro much longer.

G'day Ronnie,

I just bought an AMD 2500+ with 333mhz FSB on a Gigabyte Mobo with an 8x Gigabyte ATI RADEON 9200 128MB VIVO card for a mate. It was too good a cheap deal and I got one myself.

Flying over Berlin is smooth with NO stutter. Not like my old Celeron 1.2Ghz clunker. This will tide me over until I update to a P4 3.0Ghz with 800Mhz FSB and a ATI RADEON 9800 PRO VIVO setup.

When I exit FB, Win98 reports that there is an error with the graphics driver. Only on exit and the game plays okay.

Really looking forward to the next update. Just wish the AI gunners and FLAK weren't so accurate, and the stupid tanks shooting their main guns at me.

Tried CFS3 - Still stutter S#$% and deleted it off my HDD again!

Cheers.
