View Full Version : Kinda OT: Help Finding Particular Aviation Art

A while back, somebody posted a thread which had a link to another thread with some jaw-dropping aviation artwork. I believe it linked to a different forum containing about a dozen pieces, mostly ww2 aircraft which depicted women with them and somehow capturing the mood.

For example, one had a B-17 flying back damaged from a mission, and along side her flew a ghostly woman carrying a 50 cal and strewn with ammo.

Another depicted several Japanese Zeros flying over the ocean in the sunrise, and an asian girl danced about the clouds with them with a samauri sword.

Adn another had the Atom Bomb being dropped, with a mostly nude women sitting on it with a skull painted on her face and black, tattered angel wings.

I know it's not much to go on, but does anybody remember the thread or know where I can find the art work? I tried the search utility, but just can't recall enough to yield results.

Thanks in advance!

That I do not know. You could try and post on there and ask around. The piece was submitted on November 2006, but I dont know the artist.

The artist was Glen Angus. A truly amazing artist who has sadly passed away at too young an age.

He passed away? Very sad news, indeed.
I was on his site not that long ago, and no mention was made of it....well, that might be a very silly statement I just made.
Sad to hear it, a fine artist indeed.
