Hit your print screen key.

Press "Print Screen" key, image will be saved in your main FB/PF folder. Easy to convert if you have photoshop. Irfanview is a nice free programme if you don't have photoshop.

I use FRAPS downloaded from Airwarfare.com - it doubles as a FPS counter, and has video capture option. Saves image as a bitmap, so you might like to convert to JPEG to save space, or if you want to post your work.

Hope it helps.

ok in game press print screen, you can take loads but there is a time delay between doing each of about 10 seconds... When you have done it go into the game folder it will be C:\Program Files\Ubi Soft\IL-2 Sturmovik Forgotten Battles\ or similar depending on where you put the game....

in there you will find the pictures saved in TGA format... they will be numbered like grab0001.tga open these in any decent paint program and you can reduce its size and convert it to a Jpeg etc.... Paint sucks, but if you havent got anything to open it with download Ifran viewer this will convert them to jpegs etc and it is free

Just hit PrintScreen a lot of times. It works especially great when you have a bandit on your 6.

THIS TECHNIQUE ALLOWS YOU TO HAVE YOUR OWN VIRTUAL GUNCAM!If you play offline the best way to take beautiful screenshots is using tracks.Start a quick mission and immediately press Esc.Then select Start Recording and give file a name eg 109VsSpitfire.Now after the mission go to Tracks.Find 109VsSpitfire.trk(the dot trk is added on automatically)select it and before you press Play move up/on the Manual Time Compression(allows you to speed up or slow down tracks )and Manual View Control(allows you to view track from ANY view -eg even if you played a cockpit view only mission you can see F3 Flypasts,F6 External Padlock enemy air views etc etc Amazing!!!-You can even press Ctrl and F2 and see the damage you are causing to the plane you are shooting at from beside the plane)Also if you turn off/press down the switch for In Flight Messages that will clear any text from the screen (apart from plane icons if you use them)Now to take the screenshots just press PrintScreen. You will need IrFanView program(free download?-I got mine with games magazine disc)to see the screenshots.Go to C/ProgramFiles/UbiSoft/ForgottenBattles and thescreenshots will be in their as "Grab"s eg Grab001.Delete these regularly or they will really build up and take a lot of room. You can highlight and delete lots at once with the mouse.

Or get GIMP.
http://gimp-win.sourceforge.net/stable.html
You can do wonderful things with that program too.(for editing you screenshots)
Otherwise FRAPS is nice to get them as stated earlier.
