Are the new maps, Normandy, Pacific, only for online play or both online/offline?

Only for speaking about the beta. The original poster's question is fair game, both maps have been officially announced.

The answer is both. The only differences between online and offline maps are:

- Size: the "online" maps are lots smaller
- Real world correspondence: the "offline" maps are modelled on real world locations. So is the online map based on the Gulf of Finland map. Most of the "online" maps are generic scenery made up by the map modellors.

ROFLMAO - so we can discuss some but not all... /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-surprised.gif

This is getting complicated... /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

If Oleg answered something about 1.2 - can we talk about that ??? - (like the p51 getting tempered in speed in final 1.2)

Normandy and Ardennes are big maps for offline play
Pacific Islands is for online play

'caus you CAN use all maps offline and online though...
