I had chessmaster 9000 a long time ago, and I loved its tutorials and teaching stuff. I'm pretty much a beginner, I know the basics. I want the best program to help me learn alot about chess. My question is should I get this game, go with chessmaster 9 or 10 or some other program?

Actually CM 10 ad XI will take you beyond the basics and also offer a very good analysis tool. Post game analysis is an important part of learning and improving

I think Chessmaster is an excellent choice especially for a beginner. Which to buy is harder to answer. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

CM9 - $10. CM10 - $20. CM11 - $40.

I'm glad I bought CM11, but if your budget is tight, the older versions are great values.
