Well for safety's sake I'd un-install all the Saitek software and intialize the CH stuff in the Windows Control Panel.

ok so i have pluged things in everything working ok, however IL2 sees my USB pedals as the main control..............for example when i go to set it in game it sees joystick as second control. and pedals as first controler, how do i change this?

CH control manager software allows you to combine all your CH gear so that Windows (and FB) sees it as one controller. I don't recall the step by step details bit I figured it out so I imagine you can. Maybe someone who has more energy than I do would be willing to type detailed instructions...

Good luck

P.S.

The only reason you might want to uninstall any other controllers before setting up your new ones I can think of would be to get windows to see your new CH gear as controller ID1... so you could then use the ingame sliders to set the axis sensitivity. I have several contollers installed on my rig at the same time, there's no danger in that.

Try the Control manager tutorial here (http://www.ch-hangar.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2019)

go here, get the control manager software:
http://www.chproducts.com/retail/tech_support_usb.html
read the instalation instructions in the link Brando posted.

Then install it. The Manager will combine both controlers into one, so windows and Il-2 will see only one.
