Since Ac is about to hit the streets, I was wondering if anyone would make a marathon/playthrough.

I Don't think this question was ever posted before, but I wasn't feeling like Bumping dead threads, anyway your thoughts ?

Game Marathon: Playing a video game from start to finish with little or no breaks.(And filming/recording it)

That would be kind of hard just because of the nature of this game. It has no liner progression so you would have to play for many hours before you could complete it. I think you would die trying to do it in one continuous play through.

You can't play Assassin's Creed from start to finish with no break...it's just impossible. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_eek.gif

no way I'm doing this, I want to appreciate each and every little moment of the game and plan on spending a really insane amount of time in that game. I ''marathoned'' a few game (short lived shooter mostly) and I always felt like I had miss so much and I didn't get any value for my money...

It doesn't have to be from start to finish, It can last as long as the host wants, the key thing here is to film it and share it with the community, for example to people who can't get the game or don't own any of the systems.

Thanks for the reply.

I do not plan to marathon AC for two simple reasons.

1. My hands will literally be killing me after several hours of play due to my lack of console endurance (haven't played a console for a long time).

2. I don't want my xbox 360 to overheat. I didn't know it can happen but now that i do i plan to give it periodic breaks.

If i didn't have those 2 points yeah i'd marathon the game no problem. Maybe not start to finish but a good 12 or more hours straight playtime...providing i don't get kicked off the console lol.

It is possible, assuming you do the bare minimum, know exactly what you are doing, never make any mistakes, and draw a map that shows the shortest routes between each assassination and assassin bases. Even then, it took the speed runner 9 Hours.

Do you guys reckon that that game tester/speed runner (whatever you wanna call him/her)Marathoned it...i.e recorded it?? That would be cool for some leaked footage eh?
