In attack on Pearl Harbor, Hickman Field, the zero I am flying keeps shutting down the engine half way through the mission. What causes this in easy mode, and what can I do to stop that from happening?

Which version of Pacific Fighters. If its version 3.0 then its a bug/feature. Version 3.0 featured the A6M-21 with a float carberator which, under negative-G's, cuts out.

Two solutions:

1) Don't push the nose down, instead, roll upside down and pull back.

2) Patch the software.

Be sure to read the descriptions and get the appropriate matches in version numbers.

You don't actually fly full throttle overheating engine all the time, do you? If you have HUD messages option turned on in the settings, a message should appear on screen, otherwise no (check it). It's on by default IIRC.
