I think Ian Boys & co have the credit for that map, and I agree, its stunning, the best looking map for the Sturmovik series IHMO http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Is there any DGen campaign for this map?
I don't see any.

Great looking map.

The airfields are very detailed. And there are several small runways around the map on the dirtroads. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/11.gif

Campaigns for the Kurland and Murmansk map will be released in a paid for add-on released by Ian Boys & Co.

There will be no DGen campaigns until this happens.

When is this add-on going to be for sale, any chance of there being a JU88 torpedo bomber campaign out of murmansk included? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

I think Ian Boys said there were plans for a He-111 torp career, but I'm not sure on the Ju-88 career

Ju-88 is planned, but since it isn't available it's merely a point on a list. He 111 H-6 as torpedo bomber is finished and will be part of the AddOn.

So if somehow the gods of the sim put in a torp carrying Ju88, I could maybe change some config files and get that in instead of the He111? And while we are getting torp campaigns, how about a torp campaign for the gulf of finland. There was a group of torp carrying Ju88s there if I remember correctly.

Just been playing it this evening with my squad, early morning, little overcast, stunning with the new clouds!!

On my sys with max 16 players it played as smooth as silk as well.

Sys XP2800, 9800 pro 128, Gigabyte Ga7vxp mobo, 768 pc2700, s/blaster live 5.1
OS Win XP sp2, Cat 5.6's, direct x 9.0c, latest creative drivers for s/card.

Does the fact that there was no AI for my PC to deal with have a positive effect on fps?

It seems that with quite heavy cloud cover it played smoother than it does offline with AI planes!!

Settings: 1024x768, 4aa, no af, perfect settings, with water set to 0

I'll have to take a closer look at the Kurland map, I didn't notice anything special about it.

However, the Murmansk map is fantastic! My new favorite.
