I have it. It is a terrific book full of great shots of the RAF bombers of the period.

What was the book that related to the huge loss of Blenheim crews during the Battle of Britain 1940?

Best Regards,

I think you are thinking of Norman Franks' classic VALIANT WINGS about the Blenheim and Battle squadrons in the 1940 Battle of France, MBA. I have it, and it is absolutely superb. Nothing like it for the Blenheims and Battles in that battle. 2 GROUP RAF by Michael J. Bowyer has excellent material on the Blenheim bomber squadrons based in the UK from 1939 until they were withdrawn from service. It, of course, has much on Blenheim ops during the B of B.

Oh, OK, maybe you are thinking about Theo Boiten's classic BLENHEIM STRIKE about the brutal Channel Stop missions flown from the UK from 1941 to 1942 which resulted in horrible casualties for the Blenheim bomber squadrons of 2 Group Bomber Command?

I don't know about a book specifically about Blenheim ops in the B of B.
