Anyone here played WarBirds2004? What do you think about it? Is it still ~200 ppl on line?

I had an account for WBIII - and remember it having poor graphics, but good gameplay online and it also felt like it had more "difference" in FM between aircrafts than in IL2.

Please note - I am not trying to start a discussion about which game is better - I am not playing WB at the moment, but regularly play AEP though http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif. (I mean I am a good guy)

I just value the opinion of these forum and want to know what you think about WB2004.

I just dropped WB after flying it for years...

the gameplay is the same but I was disappointed by the low numbers, the stuttering even with simple graphics, and the fact that in the 1940s the IL2 had cluster bombs and in 2004 Warbirds has none...doesn't even have the il-2!

It used to rock but the developer has screwed with it so much it doesn't cut it anymore...

Boy I remember warbirds when it first started. That was great but the dowload was killer back then with only 56k. I had only one cockpit for the longest time.
