Today we morn the loss of Klun Bart Mancuso. Courages and cunning. A 100K offcer. And one of the finest comanders I ever knew. He died a sailors death, fighting to the end. He was jumped by 3 DD's in 25 meters of water in rute to New York. He took 2 out, 1 was left. It was that 1 that sank him http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/51.gif. He sank in 40 meters of water. I keep in remembrance thoes who, I fathful performance of there duty, found there last rest with the boat, Korvettenkapitan Bart Mancuso and his brave crew. *Taps*

A moment of silence was held on the deck of U-86 sailing home few km away from Brest.

-There are no roses on a sailorâ´s grave,
no lilies on an ocean wave.
Only tribute is the seagullsâ´sweeps
And the teardrops that a sweetheart weeps.

Its on the first page of a book called Iron Coffins By Herbert A. Werner (U-boat captain). Itâ´s a German Sailorsâ´ song. That can be found in Here (http://www.ety.com/HRP/poetics/indexpoetics.htm) for example. So yes you guessed didnâ´t make it myself http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Ah yes, always a positive presence around the base. Always had a good word for everyone. Told the raunchiest jokes! He and his 53 ship mates (I'm assuming it was a IX-B), will all be remembered.

Make sure to put him in the Aces List (http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/857101043/m/5771064363)!

For your gallant Captain and crew...

53 of The Brave

The gulls curl and wheel
o'er the breaking waves,
two witnesses to the passing
of 53 of the brave

Now the twilight settles 'round
somber, blanketing the place,
where they went down
those 53 of the brave

Their bodies repose quiet, in state
curious fishes parade past,
headstone made of iron and fate
saluting 53 of the brave

Who were these men
and what did they do
History keeps their tales safe
those 53 of the brave

I finaly decided to re-load from my last save(before I tried the stunt that killed me) and chalked up a good patrol. I didint want to go through a year and 1/2 just to get a IXB. And 2 years to go to America.
