I watched the movie "Willy Wonka" the other day. Great fun, I've seen it a dozen times. I noticed something that hadn't hit me before in the film.

When the bogus fifth Golden Ticket is found to be a fraud, the South American gentleman who counterfeited the ticket has his picture in the paper.

It's a picture of Martin Bormann, lol

OK, so I guess that since the young peeps couldn't possibly ever understand the joke or even find out about who the guy was, it can't be funny. I understand, it's hard to find out about things without a link to a pic, or a website explaining everything that someone might post. It's hard to use a search engine or crack open a book, I understand 100%. If it's not at your fingertips immediately it can't be worth knowing.

But if you DID bother to find out what I'm talking about, it would be absurdly funny that the guy came out of hiding to get a chance to go to a chocolate factory, and he did it by cheating.

Nothing old is worth knowing...but tell me, why do you play IL*2?

That is funny. I'll have to rent the movie again some time.

i think it is quite funny too
maybe viper is 12 or something

one thing i would like to ask

"Very slightly to do with WW@,"

W W at ?

in my experience @ means "at"
as in "Fluke39 at Hotmail.com"

i have seen people use it for "for" - only on this forum and it kinda annoyed and confused me but that's beside the point as in some thread titles " @ some_idiot"

what are u using it for in the title?

You are so close to the truth it isn't funny! I'm not quite 32, but a few months ago I nearly lost the last third of a finger. It wasn't fully chopped off (I dropped a V8 engine block on it) but it was pretty damaged. It was on my left hand, so sometimes, keys I hit on the left side of the keyboard get mis-stroked. I'm either holding down the shift too long or not long enough- I'm getting a lot of words without capital letters lately too. I'm used to hiting the "shift" key with my left hand . After I posted this I read the title and then smacked my forehead, lol

Yep understand fully I'm an ex Deisel Mech. I'm forman now but after all the years of abuse to hands, mine can get a bit out of hand and disbehave too. So I rightly defended you on this point then. S!

"So shines a good deed... in a weary world."

Great flick. I own a copy of it. Why? Because Gene Wilder kicks much *** in every flick he's in. Period. >8)
