Hey guys!

With all the planes in IL2-FB there is no way Ill will be able to test them all... unless I get some help! HINT HINT!

It is easy to do! I wanted to make it easy for people (sim test pilots) to fly a mission that resembles the real life conditions and methods. The method is to start at an altitude well above the 10kft altitude so you can dive down to 10kft to obtain the initial higher speeds. Once you get to 10kft all you have to do is roll the plane at least one complete 360? per each indicated speed (IAS).

You can repeat any roll at any speed as many times as you want in any order you want. All you have to do is insure that you stop and fly level for at least a few seconds in-between each roll. The analysis tool will scan through the Device Link data and pick out the peak roll rate per each roll you do and plot them on a graph. Just try and keep the banking at a min, you should be either wing level flying level (pitch is ok to adj for alt) or rolling 360?.

You can take as long as you want, but, the faster you do it all the smaller the file will be. The goal is to try and do a roll at as many speeds as you can to fill in the graph as much as posiable. For example, at least try and roll the plane at each 50mph speed.. i.e.

400mph
350mph
300mph
250mph
200mph
150mph

That should fill in the graph nicely. Dont worry about hitting the speed exactally, +/-20mph is not a big deal, it will just move that data point left or right a bit. The important part is to make sure you do each roll at 10Kft +/-200ft.

Remember, use the *.ntrk, not the *.trk file format and send it to naca_testing@yahoo.com

I'll send tracks for the Fw190s and P-39s. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

What fuelload to use - 100%? What about weapons - default? Crimea map, noon, perfect weather? Do we use rudder or not? Do we roll in direction of prop direction or contra? Maybe it would be easier to use kph as a measure unit: 700, 600, 500, 450, 400, 350, 300, 250

Will send for mustang family. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

What is the device link? Is it necessary for testing? I want to see what the roll rate is for the corsairs. Should there be a specified fuel amount?

PS, I wont be posting the results here anymore, so, I may not be responding to these threads here in the near future, in that I may get a vacation if I do, so, please any further talks on this should be move over to SimHQ where they tend to apreicate feedback with supporting data.
