B-25H pilot flight operating instructions says four pairs are stowed in the 75mm ammo rack.

What are these?

I believe these goggles had red lenses so the tracer was more visible to the gunners in bright conditions.

Some of the 'mod' planes youd NEED goggles to avoid getting epilepsy from the crazy flashing /strobe effect when you fire guns...Then again I suppose it was mad in reality too...did I read that night figher pilots or gunners could be blinded for minutes after firing by the flash?
